We met up with Pastor Dustin Segers of Shepherd’s Fellowship at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, but found out students were off for the day, so we headed to downtown Greensboro. Despite the rain, wind, and cold, many saints came out to pass out tracts, one to one, and preach the gospel. Chris and Jessica Landrum brought their son Chris Jr. from Manning, SC, Dane Gardow traveled all the way from Lynchburn, VA to join us for the day, and Eric and Starla Tracy boldly face the weather as well.
It was an incredible blessing to see Dane and Chris open air for the first time. I have witnessed about a dozen people OA for the first time in the last couple of years, and it brings me to tears almost every time. I thank God for these men and I know they are going back to their cities with boldness that comes from our great King Jesus. I was especially touched to see Chris spend much time ministering to the homeless in downtown Greensboro, even taking of one the men to lunch with us and sharing Christ with him. Many tracts were given out and some believers who passed by were encouraged. Thank you Jesus.
