After the first four hours of BEERFEST, Don Karns, Chuck LaVerdiere, and I headed over to the area near the capitol building in Raleigh where a Tea Party rally was going on. Don held a sign that read, “Are You Right with God? Repent and Believe the Gospel” and I had one with Colossians 1:20 on it. We were able to stand near the stage where many people were able to read the signs. A couple of the speakers used the signs as a platform to rail against Obama. After Gingrich spoke, Don, Chuck, and I were able to preach the gospel to the crowds waiting to shake Newt’s hand. A few people thanked us for being there and preaching Christ.
