The 138th running of the Kentucky Derby drew a record crowd of 165,307 fans to Churchill Downs Racetrack. The Henry family from Orlando and Tom Kiser of prayerstand.com joined Bill Adams, Hamilton and Joe Hale, and myself to preach the gospel across from the infield gate. The Derby is a memorable event, filled with all manner of Vanity Fair as well as numerous heretical preachers. It should also be noted that we were not with the people with the large banners in these photographs. Praise the Lord for the strength he gave us to proclaim the one Savior of sinners.
