Super Bowl 2011 ~ Dallas, TX

In February,  I spent four days in Dallas, TX with over 100 other evangelists at Super Bowl Outreach organized by Bill Adams of Sports Fan Outreach International. Over 100,000 gospel tracts were distributed and many thousands heard the word of the LORD. Numerous one to one conversations were had by many, and some preached the gospel in the open air for the first time. We also received wonderful teaching and instruction from other seasoned evangelists and pastors during this outreach. One of the most memorable days of this event was at Dealey Plaza, where JFK was shot. As we preached the gospel and engaged in conversations on the infamous grassy knoll, a group of over 100 Egyptian muslims came to protest the president of their country. We continued by reading the book of Romans to them, although they attempted to drown out the word with loud chanting, many of them came out of the crowd to engage our team members in conversation. Be encouraged brothers and sisters, by Isaiah 55:10-11 “For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven and do not return there but water the earth, making it bring forth and sprout, giving seed to the sower and bread to the eater, so shall my word be that goes out from my mouth; it shall not return to me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose, and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it.”
